Ideal for students who have completed Logic: beginners or have similar experience. Lean how to use Ultrabeat, automation, creating apple loops, and comping. Ideal in conjunction with Home Studio Recording.
What will I learn on the course?
By the end of the course you should be able to:
- Use Ultrabeat to create and export drum patterns
- Create your own sounds using the ES1 Synthesizer
- Operate the EXS24 sampling functions
- Work with a variety of plug-ins to enhance your tracks
What will I be doing in class?
Practical workshops
Class discussion of listening assignments.
Taking notes during lectures and audiovisual presentations
Group and individual projects
What kind of feedback will I get?
In order to ensure that you make the best possible progress on your course, you will have regular and detailed feedback from your tutor, in a constructive and supportive environment.
Are there any entry requirements?
Completion of Logic for Beginners
Access outside of class to Logic is strongly recommended
A strong interest in music.
Some experience of using Apple computers would be an advantage, but support during class will be given.
Basic computer skills, file management, etc.
